Exploring Petchburi- Chao Sam Ran Beach & Cha-Am Beach 21 Jan 2014

This is my first outing with the wifes for 2014, we went to Chao Sam Ran Beach & Cha-Am Beach, which is about 2 hours car ride from Kanchanaburi. It is a tiring and long journey but when you saw the beaches, you will forget the tiredness. During this period of time, surprisingly Thailand is cooling like 19-21 degree. Love this weather...

Chao Sam Ran Beach is more quite and relaxing beaches with less tourist so if you want more privacy, you may choose here.
 beautiful beach, super windy
picnic time

super hot but windy..

While strolling along the beach, we came across this resort Blue Sky Resort, is directly in front of the beach and it is very peaceful with blue and white color theme.

manage to go in to take a look of the room.

After Chao Sam Ran Beach, we went to Cha-Am beach, it is more commercial with tourist sun tanning at the beach. There are a lot of hotels, restaurant, pub and massage, spa palour along the beach which you have plenty of choices to choose from.

Exploring Bangkok- Saduak-Sby at Chidlom Garden Quarter Hostel (20 March 2014)

Finally, the protest has narrow down to one location at Lumpini Park instead of several location. For the past few month, we could not go to Bangkok as it was very messy and had bombing case at several locations.

Because I am pregnant, I need some new clothes to replace my current tight short and clothes. This is an excuse for me to get some serious shopping at Platinum Mall.

I stayed at Saduak-Sby at Chidlom Garden Quarter Hostel (only for gals) which is approximately 10-15 min walk from Chit Lom BTS. It is near the Central Chit Lom Shopping Mall and the 4 Face Buddha. You could also walk to Platinum Mall which is approximately 15-20 min walk which is very convenience when you carry a lot of shopping items, you may ask the owner for direction. There are Starbuck, Subway, MacDonald, supermarket and several Food stall nearby too.

Let talk about the hostel, the place is an 3 bedrooms apartment which is privately owned. The owner is very friendly and helpful which give information about Bangkok. The place is huge and spacious with cosy living room area, kitchen facilities (with oven, toaster and drinking water machine) and toilet facilities (they provide clean towel and locker). I will definitely recommend to gals who travel alone or a group of gals friend to stay here as it is near the shopping area and safe along the way to the hostel.
