Exploring Bangkok- Shortcut from Siam Paragon to Lemontea Hotel or Pratunam Market

There is a shortcut (please use the street view for better navigation) from Siam Paragon instead of walking to Centralworld and Platinum mall from Chit Lom BTS. When you are at Siam Paragon, you will need to go to basement 1 (look out for Siam Kempinski Hotel' s signage) near Tony Roma's restaurant. Exit and walk toward to Siam Kempinski hotel, there is a bridge over a small canal. walk straight till you at the main road (on the right is 7-11 store), turn right to Platinum Mall or cross the overhead bridge to the hotel and Pratunam Market.

Exploring Bangkok: Pratunam Wanton Mee & Khao San Road

Finally found the famous wanton mee at Pratunam Market which is near the Glow Hotel. The wanton mee is very delicious very original with a lot of fried pork oil. Please also try the pig trotter as it is also yummy (non fatty). Long time never eat a delicious wanton mee and this did not fail us.

We also went to Khao San Road to explore the night life there, it is full of night market, street food and outdoor restaurant. We happened to explore one cafe call Moka Cake & Gallery cafe, which is very interesting full of their painted drawing and stuff they sew themselves. There are two stretch of road that you could explore, one is Khao San Road and Rambuttri road (which is side by side). Or another way is to get lost at Khao San.

Exploring Bangkok- Lemontea Hotel (25 Oct 2013)

This time, we stayed at Lemontea Hotel which is near Pratunam Market and Platinum Mall, is shopping time... The staff is very friendly, environment is clean. Distance to the shopping area is very short (15 min walk). There is a shortcut to the Pratunam Market which you may get the direction from the staff too.

Some small issue about this hotel, the air-con compressor and the fridge is making a lot of noise. The place is not sound proof as you will heard people talking walking when they are at the common area. Overall is still good for the price of $60 plus (without breakfast) as we will go out most of the time.

shower is not as grand as some hotel, the size is quite ok.

Exploring Saiyok Elephant Park (25 Oct 2013)

Went to the company's outing with my husband's colleagues to Saiyok Elephant Park, the elephant is so cute, they will perform some show to us. The people there will carry an bamboo with a sharp hook, they will use it on the elephant in order for the elephant to be obedience. Feeling sad when the people hit the elephant with the bamboo and chain them up with no freedom.

Exploring Kanchanaburi- Dheva Mantra Resort & Spa (15 Oct 2013)

“It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?”
― A.A. MilneWinnie-the-Pooh

Fate bring 2 of us together from strangers to friends. My new friend, Jah that I met at Kanchanaburi, really happy that we started our first conversation at the beauty parlour. She is very helpful, easy-going and chatty as me (HAHA) that we could chat on anything.

We decided to go to Phuket to relax for my Birthday retreat but is not a good experience as it rained every day. We do not have the chance to explore our swimming pool and other beaches.

This time we stay at Anantara Vacation Club at Mai Khao Beach, The villa is awesome with private pool, big living room, kitchenette, big bathroom. This location is good as there is a Turtle Village nearby. They have restaurants, supermarket and shops within 5 min walk from the hotel.
